I think the Spanx Faux Leather Leggings were the most purchased item in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I don't know that for a fact, but I wouldn't be surprised if that was true. So why not take a look at the many different ways these babies can be styled?! The thing I love about these leggings is that you can style them like any other leggings, they just add an edge and give so much more to an outfit. I personally, tend to wear any kind of leggings, including these, with a longer more tunic style top just because my lower half is wider than my upper body so it just seems more comfortable and flattering to me. Many others, however, look amazing and have no problem showing off these leggings in full length with a crop top or a regular length shirt. 2. Transitioning from Summer to Fall can be so much fun as far as styling outfits and adding change up options to what you've been wearing for a few months. A blouse with a pop of color, like this pink, has Summer still hanging on but if it's paired with a neutrally patterned bootie, it's got Fall written all over it.

3. I LOVE a scarf! If you walked into my closet you would see that I have an obscene collection of scarves, to me the accessory of all accessories. A scarf is an amazing way to add style to any outfit. 4. Adding a cardigan to a pair of leggings just seems so standard, and trust me, I do it on the weekly, but adding it to these faux leathers over a white tank or a basic tee is just plain smart if you ask me. It's a great way to tone down the leggings without taking away from them. You can dress a cardi outfit up for work with some animal print mules or keep it casual with a pair of white sneakers for running errands or just hanging out.

5. Plaid is comin' in hot for Fall and it's again, another way to tone down these otherwise, edgy leggings without taking away their intentions. 7. Mustard, caramel and marigold are amazing colors for Fall and you will definitely be seeing me wearing this tunic blouse with the fauxs. Not only is the color perfect but the weight and length of the blouse are perfect too. Any tunic style blouse would look great with these leggings along with a pair of simple black booties. 9. I love a chunky, long sweater and shooting the rest of these styles really made me (I hate to say it) yearn for sweater weather! Shhhhhh!
     These leggings look amazing in the winter with a long chunky knit sweater and even as you transition from late Fall. This syling leaves you feeling chic and cozy. This hot pink in particular looks fabulous with snakeskin print.

10. Another long chunky sweater I love to wear with these leggings. It looks super cute on a girls night out or a day night with the over the knee boots to show just a few inches of the faux leather.

11. This is a super simple way to style the leggings, but many wouldn't think to go black on black. It works when you spice it up or break up the black with a statement shoe like these leopard print booties. This outfit would also look amazing with over the knee boots in a neutral color.

12. This really might be my absolute favorite way to style these leggings, and an outfit that I will be seen in many times throughout the Fall and Winter. I love how the white tank/tee breaks up the darkness and adds a pop to the cardigan. I would probably lean toward the black bootie or even a sleek black flat for this outfit just because of the length of the sweater. However, these over the knee boots would look great with a shorter leopard cardi or even a sweater.

     I am a proud Amazon Prime member and really don't know how I ever lived without it years ago. I do like to shop local as much as I can and I do when it makes sense. It is still very important to do so when the opportunity is there. However, Amazon is just like an other big box store but the two-day shipping and free returns just can't be beat. I think many of us have gotten into the habit of checking Amazon first before we jump in the car to head to the other side of town to the nearest big box option. 
     With a Prime membership comes many perks. Series, movies and rentals, music streaming, different charitable and fundraising options, and now a "try it before you buy it" clothing opportunity. 
     This isn't my first rodeo with a "try before you buy" service. I am not going to name names but I was part of a service once where I sent in my bio, measurements, likes and dislikes and a stylist would send me a handful of options for me to try on and decide what to keep and what to send back. I didn't really have much control over what was being sent to me, the brands or the quality and I ended up not being a long lasting customer of the service.
     So I have been trying out Prime Wardrobe and promised I would deliver you my feedback once I had enough experience to report. So here it goes, the pros and the cons...

CON: Items seem to be a touch more expensive than just simply shopping on Prime. I am not sure that's factual but it definitely seemed that way to me. 

CON: It is difficult or takes much more time to find items that are available on Prime Wardrobe. 

CON: Once you do find the available items it does seem that options are somewhat limited and not necessarily "on trend" items. 

CON: There is not an option for two-day shipping when you use this service. The items that I have received have typically taken 5-7 days to arrive.

CON: Debit cards are prohibited for this service and the use of credit cards is all that is allowed. I am assuming so that they can hold patrons accountable for paying for what they actually want to keep and what they forget to send back. 

PRO: It's great for when you are shopping for basics. There are a ton of basic tees and tanks, sweaters, pants and just solid closet staples. 

PRO: It's great for those that are in between sizes. You can order two sizes, try them both on, keep what fits and send back what doesn't. 

PRO: You are allowed to order up to seven items on Prime Wardrobe which is more than most other "try it before you buy it" services. 

PRO: The Amazon Daily Ritual brand is a great brand that seems to make up most of what's available on Prime Wardrobe. So you know you aren't getting anything from overseas where the sizing might be completely different or the quality is a risk. 

PRO: You have full control over what is coming your way. You decide what you're going to try on and you get to try it on in the comfort of your own home. 

     All in all, I will use this service again, it doesn't cost anything extra for existing Prime members and it's a great way to try on basic staples if you're unsure on sizing. It's still much easier than getting in the car and searching for hours for a needed item that you might not ever actually find.

     Even though the sun is clearly shining down on these beauty booties, we all know, as much as we hate to admit it, that Fall is creeping around the corner and fast. The best thing about Fall and one of the things that makes saying goodbye to Summer a heck of a lot easier are booties!! Literally the item in my closet that I have the most of and the accessory my husband loves the most  and chooses often. I can't get enough, and it seems to me that there are so many options and styles you just have to have even when you think you have all that you need. 
     I have added a few to my collection this summer but these are the staples I plan to be seen in often starting here in the next few weeks. They are all great to wear with jeans (cropped or full length), with leggings, with dresses, shorts and even skirts so really they are the perfect way to transition into a season that doesn't really know what it wants to be. :)
